What's the strangest thing you have eaten? How about dirt? It is strange that a university in Australia has done some research and discovered that eating dirt is a good way to lose weight. 

Something about the dirt aligning the walls of your intestines stops the body absorption of fat. The fat soaks into the dirt and passes thru the body.  The results are said to be better than diet pills. Don't start eating your soil, see more here.
