Bruce Springsteen’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible — where he wrote his signature songs “Born To Run,” “Thunder Road” and “Backstreets” — has gone to auction via eBay.

After the release of “Born To Run,” the car was pictured in Time and Newsweek the week in 1975 when Bruce appeared in the cover stories of both — coincidentally on page 57.

Fans also had the chance to see when the Chevy was displayed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in New York City. It was moved to the Hall’s museum in Cleveland in January 2010.

The original vehicle registration and insurance card, issued in The Boss’s name, is included.

As of late Tuesday afternoon, the high bid for Bruce’s convertible was just over $35,000.
