There is often some disgruntled artists when it comes to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, from Steve Miller last year not receiving passes for his band members, to recently Jon Bon Jovi feeling his band is being kept out for personal reasons. UCR posted these comments from Jovi, “I called [the guy] a few choice words, and I’m never shy, when I see him, to call him a few more choice words. And there’s other guys on that thing that have made it their personal mission to f— with me. And that’s okay. I get it. I’ve sold more records than their artists.”
Jon did not specifically call out who he thinks is blocking the bands induction but comment why he thinks they should be in, “The criteria is actually that your music had an influence on generations that came after you, and that it’s still out and very present. Yeah, we have every criteria.” It gets interesting, see more here.
