Rock Cats Play Real Instruments…And Are Purr-forming in Detroit!

Samantha Martin, a pioneering feline behavioral expert, brings her Amazing Acro-Cats and The Rock Cats to perform at Jam Handy on E. Grand Boulevard in Detroit October 20-24.

The cats perform tricks with hoops, tumblers, skateboards; they hoist flags, read signs, and even roll balls over parallel ropes. This amazing show also includes performing mice, rats, and a cat vs chicken bowling competition.

The Rock Cats, led by Tuna on cowbell, with Oz on guitar, Asti on Drums, and Nue on keyboard, play their own instruments and have performed on Animal Planet and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The cats are all trained with positive reinforcement.

The show is a unique blend of entertainment, education, public awareness, and a genuine dedication to providing financial contribution, promotion, and rescue/rehabilitation/adoption assistance for animal welfare groups wherever it performs.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Animal House of Southeast Michigan and Motor City Rescue.
