Metro Detroit Halloween Fun

Maybe you don’t go crazy decorating your house for Halloween like Stacey does, but you still want to get in the spirit (Spirit! See what I did there?!)

Check out these spooky/fun spots:

Zoo Boo at the Detroit ZooOctober 7-9, October 14-16, October 21-23 • 5-8 p.m. $9 (advance tickets) — Walk the trick-or-treat trail that features live, friendly entertainment at the front of the zoo and visit the Haunted Reptile House.

Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village: October 14-16, 20-23, and 27-30 • Time slots are every 1/2 hour 6:30 pm-9 pm Thursday (10/27), Fridays & Saturdays. Thursdays & Sundays 6:30 pm-8 pm $13.75 Members, $16 Non-Members — A mile long curving path is haunted by over 1,000 jack-o-lanterns and lavishly costumed characters, including a Headless Horseman.

The Legend of Sleepy Howell: Saturday October 22 • 6-9 pm  Free — Enjoy trick-or-treating, costume contests, hay rides, food vendors, the Headless Horseman 5k/10k, and more.

Scarecrow Fest (Frankenmuth): October 15-16 and 22-23 • 12 – 6 pm Free —  Enjoy entertainment, pumpkin bowling & pumpkin catapulting, inflatables, face & pumpkin painting, pet costume contests, and much more!
