An eighteen year old is fed-up seeing pictures of herself that she dislikes on her parents Facebook, “I’m tired of not being taken seriously by my parents.” The girl who’s name is kept private asked her parents to delete over 500 pictures of her taken thru the years. Now an adult, she first noticed the pictures at age 15.

The dad gave his point of view, “After all, this is our child and the photos are part of our lovely family album which has been well received by our Facebook friends. We have posted no more photos of our daughter since she stopped allowing us to photograph her. We also have baby photos of her that can only be seen by a limited group of 700 Facebook friends.”

I’m curious if this case sets a precedent, because many of us do like some of the pictures posted of ourselves on social media. Imagine if a court decision begins to give us the power of making a person delete unwanted pictures. More on the story here.
