Cougar sightings are becoming more common. A few years ago I spotted one walking next to a field on my property line. Recent story’s report cougars sitting and chillin’ out next to the peoples homes. Below is a mountain lion napping on a persons front porch.

UPI posted homeowner Kathy Inman saying, “So I looked down and I said, ‘what dog is that laying on my porch?’ and I tapped on the glass, and he or she turned around and I said, ‘that ain’t no dog,'”

In another story a woman reported a cougar roaming around her in-laws home.

Nicole Shanks said it, “Came right up to the living room window!” Conservation officer Steve Ackles offers great advice when encountering a cougar, “If you encounter a cougar, never turn your back or run away, that’s the most important thing.”
