Wild Beasts Wild Wine
Date: Friday, July 22, 2016 at 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm
Do you like wine? If so, buy a ticket to the Wild Beasts Wild Wine event. Spend the evening wine tasting, laughing, listening to live music and listening to the zoo experts. Everyone at this event must be 21+ years old. As you drink, if food is needed, there is food to purchase. This event will truly be a delectable evening. The more money you donate and spend at this event, the more you are personally helping save wildlife and their habitats.

Zoo Brew is a very popular event, and tickets go fast. Anyone attending must be 21+ years or older. Craft beers will be served at this event. Snack on foods throughout the evening. Have fun laughing and socializing. Enjoy exploring the habitats until twilight with a zookeeper guide. Learn and drink the night away while supporting the zoo, natural habitats and wildlife.
Wild Summer Nights
Dates: Wednesdays in July and August from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm. July: 6, 13, 20, 27 and August: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Grab the beach blanket and chairs, pack a picnic basket with your favorite goodies and get to the Detroit Zoo Picnic Grove! This summer will be filled with music: jazz, classical, country, pop and rock with some very good artists. Check out the lineup and see what event you will attend. Do you want to listen artists such as The Sun Messengers, Michigan Opera Theatre, The Euphorics and The Verve Pipe? Choose your event, arrive early for a good spot and buy a glass of wine or beer or other treats at the concession stand to be part of the concert series this summer.

Feed The Deer
Dates: Wednesday through Sunday at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
Get up close and personal with the European fallow deer when you feed them at the Belle Isle Nature Zoo. There are twelve deer left from the original population given by the president of France in 1895. Learn about the deer and their habitat and how to keep them healthy and safe.
Summer Nature Camp
Dates: Tuesday, June 28, 2016 through Friday, August 19, 2016; there are one week camp sessions between these dates.
