Ian Halperin is the name of the moviemaker and in an interview with TheWrap, he said this shocking news. He adds that authorities who are investigating Prince’s case aren’t doing a good enough job to find it.

Ian, who’s also a #1 New York Times best seller says that the document is probably up north in Canada. “Prince formerly owned a home in Toronto, and according to Halperin, the musician had a relationship with a woman from Montreal with whom he was enamored,” TheWrap reports.

The author even adds that perhaps family members of the fallen icon aren’t interested in the will being discovered, due to the fact that they may not been awarded from it.

Last month, Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson filed legal documents claiming that it didn’t appear that her brother left a will. Tyka says in her docs, “I do not know of the existence of a will and have no reason to believe that the decedent executed testamentary documents in any form.”
