It all started when a mom tweeted our her 8-year old daughter’s handwritten letter to Hasbro asking why there was no Rey game piece in her new Star Wars Monopoly game. The #WheresRey hashtag quickly took off … and became a movement.

On Monday Hasbro explained that she was not included to avoid spoiling that she ultimately faces off with Kylo Ren but the internet always wins and a quick 24 hours later Hasbro announced that Rey would be included in the next version of the game.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has become the highest-grossing film in US box office history beating out the $760.5m earned by Avatar in 2009.
