My memory is a little foggy but I believe it was an early fall Saturday night in either 1977 or 1978.  The J.Geils Band was HUGE and had just finished a concert at Cobo Hall.

I was on the air just down Jefferson Avenue at WWWW and the band came by around midnight for an after show interview.

A crowd of fans and concert goers appeared out front of the old Victorian house we broadcast from. Peter Wolf and Magic Dick crawled out of our bathroom window on the second floor and perched on a little roof over the front door serenaded the folks with harmonica and vocals.
