Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro we created a playlist that will offer up a little motivation to help you hit the track running.
In honor of National Running Day, which just so happens to be today, June 3, we’ve carefully curated a 21-song list that is sure to help you keep your head in the running game. The first few songs will psyche you up to finish that first mile.
Once you accomplish that, some slower songs will keep you breathing and relaxed throughout the entire route. And as you near the end of your workout, the more upbeat the better.
For our running playlist, we started with the drum-filled Destiny’s Child hit “Lose My Breath” to get you pounding that pavement. Then, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson keep the pace going with “Uptown Funk.” Twenty-two minutes in may be a struggle, but not when you hear Taylor Swift‘s “22.” Very fitting, we know. Then we mix in some Bruce Springsteen to keep you dancing all the way to your personal finish line.
