Steven Tyler debuts his solo country single, called “Love Is Your Name,” during tonight’s (Wednesday, May 13th) season finale of American Idol. The Aerosmith frontman has been teasing the song for weeks now on Twitter.

Steven recently moved to Nashville and signed with Dot Records. He told Rolling Stone, “I’ve been working with some . . . epic Nashville songwriters, getting my feet wet with the style and groove.”

Eric Paslay co-wrote “Love Is Your Name” with Steven and Lindsay Lee. The song was recorded at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio, which is owned by Martina McBride and her husband, John McBride.

There’s no information yet on when Steven’s country album will be in stores.

American Idol airs on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
