Ultimate Classic Rock provides an interesting article about artists they think should be in the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame. This year has a great line-up of inductees including Ringo, Joan Jett, Bill Withers, Green Day, Lou Reed, and more. Maybe if all who deserved recognition were in, there would be no ceremonies. So there might be some strategy behind not having all inducted.

The story provides some interesting conversation showcasing the artists not in the Hall of Fame. Here are the ones that stand out to me; Bon Jovi, maybe to early for them, also The Cars, along with older artists Yes, Deep Purple, and 70’s acts Chicago and Bad Company. Those are some iconic bands. Digging deeper I see Steve Miller and the Moody Blues.

I would say the institute has many good induction celebrations down the road, because Journey, ELP, ELO, and Doobie Brothers are not in. Def Leppard has stated that they have no interested in the Hall of Fame. It’s always interesting.
