Black Sabbath have canceled what was to be their final performance at Ozzfest Japan. The performance was to take place on Nov. 22 near Tokyo.

The band announced the gig last month and it was supposed to be part of the second day of Ozzfest, the festival that frontman Ozzy Osbourne puts on each year. Originally, Osbourne was to be joined by bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi but not drummer Bill Ward.

Instead, Osbourne will perform a solo set with special guests.

No word on what this means for the band or if another final performance will be held at a later date.
