Warren Haynes will celebrate a major milestone this year: the singer will be inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 15.

Haynes will join seven other artists in the induction ceremony at the Gem Theater in Kannapolis, N.C. Other artists to be honored include the lead singer of the Manhattans Gerald Alston, Chuck Jackson, Eric Church and the Fantastic Shakers.

Additionally, Jay Spell, known for performing with Ronnie Milsap and Jimmy Buffett, R&B singer Nappy Brown and gospel singer Rev. F.C. Barnes will be honored posthumously.
