George Thorogood/Brian Setzer Bring the “Rockabilly Riot” Tour To The Motor City

George Thorogood & The Destroyers and Brian Setzer have announced the initial dates of their joint Rockabilly Riot Tour 2015.

The tour takes its name from Setzer’s 2014 album, named Rockabilly Riot! All Original. So far 13 dates are now on the books, with the tour launching on May 27th in Red Bank, New Jersey at the Count Basie Theatre and, as of now, wrapping on June 20th at Saratoga, California’s Mountain Winery. The tour will make stops in New York, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and New Mexico.

  • Out now is George Thorogood & The Destroyers‘ latest set, called 2120 South Michigan Avenue, which is named after the address to the Chicago Chess studio.
  • The collection features 13 tracks including classics by Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, and Muddy Waters, among other Chess greats. The album also features several Thorogood originals.
