Heart Returns To The Motor City In March With Joan Jett

No one can accuse Heart of taking it too easy; Ann and Nancy Wilson have just announced the first part of their jam packed 2015 itinerary. The band kicks things off on February 20th in Biloxi, Mississippi at the Hard Rock Casino & Resort, and has dates on the books through July 25th at Flushing, New York’s Citi Field, when they’ll perform as part of the 2015 Mets Post Game Concert Series.

Heart and Joan Jett will play the Palace of Auburn Hills March 27th.

Throughout Heart’s March dates, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will serve as their opening act, and on July 4th at Washington, D.C.’s RFK Stadium, Heart will serve as the special guests of with Foo Fighters, at their special 20th anniversary concert.

  • After a five year hiatus from the Top 10, between 1985 and 1987, Heart scored six straight Top Ten hits — “What About Love” (#10), “Never” (#4), “These Dreams” (#1), “Nothin’ At All” (#10), “Alone” (#1) and “Who Will You Run To” (#7).


  • Recently released is Heart’s 14th studio set, Fanatic. The album — which comes on the heels of their new autobiography, Kicking And Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul And Rock And Roll, along with their career-spanning box set, Strange Euphoria — is their followup to 2010’s Red Velvet Car, which peaked at Number 10 on the Billboard 200.
  • Red Velvet Car marked the band’s highest charting album since 1990’s Brigade peaked at Number Three.
