A few weeks ago, when Kanye West released “Only One,” a new track he made with Paul McCartney, the Internet buzzed with comments about the generation gap — and culture differences — between the two men. Now they’re back, this time teamed up with Rihanna, for a gentle new song called “Four Five Seconds,” which was released Saturday night without warning.
Here’s “FourFiveSeconds,” the new track by Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
Whether the song will be included on Rihanna’s next album or Kanye’s hasn’t been announced. In an interview with Billboard earlier this month, producer Ty Dolla Sign — who worked with Kanye in a marathon session back in September — first revealed the trio’s collaboration and left the impression that Kanye would be the one to release it. But Rihanna tweeted about it Saturday in a message that said “FIRST GLIMPSE AT MY NEW MUSIC!!!—>.”
McCartney, at 72, is nine years older than his partners’ combined ages.
“FourFiveSeconds” is available now on iTunes.
