Foo Fighters honored Seattle rock royalty last night (Oct. 14) on the Late Show with David Letterman, recruiting Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart for a rendition of the ladies’ 1977 song “Kick It Out.”

Dave Grohl and the guys took a step back for this performance, letting the two women do their thing while they played back-up.

“Oh god, we should do this every night!” Letterman shouted after the performance. “Every night it’s a party!”

The Foos will continue the party the rest of the week on Letterman, leading up to the debut of their 8-part HBO series this Friday. The show will chronicle the making of their new album, Sonic Highways, and will feature Heart along with some of the band’s other musical heroes.
