Hard rock aficionados hungry for heavy riffs and screaming guitar solos will get plenty of both in the form of World on Fire, the third solo album from former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash.

The album features the second time that Slash has worked with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators as his backing band, following up 2012 release Apocalyptic Love.

“We had a certain kind of chemistry, right from the get-go,” Slash told USA Today about working with the band. “From all the touring and the constant playing and writing together, everybody has hit their comfort zone as a unit.”

Slash has a handful of Los Angeles dates at some of the small clubs he used play during the early years of Guns ‘N Roses before heading overseas for a European tour followed by shows in Australia as part of the Soundwave Festival tour. See Slash’s current tour itinerary here.
