Just in time for the 20th annual Woodward Dream Cruise, Detroit’s own Bob Seger has released a brand new song to radio stations in the Motor City called “Detroit Made”.

The song will be included on a new Seger album due for release in October called “Ride Out”.

The song was written by Indianapolis native, singer/songwriter, John Hiatt who’s work has been covered by a slew of other artists in multiple genres including:  Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Joe Cocker and the Jeff Healey Band who covered the Hiatt-penned song “Angel Eyes“, and took it to the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot-100.

The song, “Detroit Made”, Is a nod to Detroit’s automotive history and highlights Buick’s infamous Electra 225 known as the “Deuce and a Quarter”.
