Paul McCartney’s New Sound, Electronic?

Paul has been busy with a world tour, earlier released a new album, and battled a very bad viral infection. Now comes rumors of his next project. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that his next venture could be electronic music which is somewhat a return to his 2008 Fireman workings, ‘Electric Arguments’.

Paul uses the Cubase program at his home studio to generate the sound, “It’s incredibly addictive — I’ll just sit there for six hours, until someone has to nudge me and say, ‘Go home now.’ Normally I work on my orchestral side on that, but someone said to me, ‘You know what? That’s not technically an orchestral program. It’s more of a pop program.’ So when I had some time to do nothing, I went in and said, ‘Great. I’ll start on a dance track or something.’”

So maybe we should at least put out an invitation for him to be at Detroit’s next Electronic Music festival.
