He says, “Kenney JonesRonnie Wood, myself and Rod Stewart all got the same idea now. We should all get back together. I know Rod has said it many times, but apparently he is serious this time. We’re waiting.” The Faces, minus Stewart, have done a few shows since 2009 with Simply Red‘s Mick Hucknall on vocals.

Next year is also the 50th anniversary of  The Small Faces, which morphed into The Faces. McLagan says he and Kenney Jones will play a show in London to mark the occasion and to pay tribute to their late bandmates Ronnie Lane and Steve Marriott.

McLagan released a new album yesterday in the  United States. Ronnie Wood is on tour with The Rolling Stones with a show set for Germany on Thursday. And Stewart has a show in England on Wednesday.
