The Allman Brothers Band have announced that their final live concerts will be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, October 27-28. They have performed at The Beacon 232 times. Those will follow a bunch of re-scheduled shows because of Gregg Allman becoming ill.

Earlier this year many were surprised by the sudden departure of Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks.

The final shows give extra meaning to every remaining show beginning with Mountain Jam on Sunday, June 8 at Hunter Mountain, NY, at that show they will be performing their first two albums, ‘The Allman Brothers Band’ and ‘Idlewild South’. See the tour dates here from Ultimate Classic Rock.
