Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart will hit the road together later this month, but on Tuesday they gave a taste of what’s to come.

Carlos, who lives in Las Vegas, where he does a residency, dropped in on Stewart’s residency at Caesars Palace for a performance of “I’d Rather Go Blind.” While Santana let his fingers do the talking, Stewart said, “This is the first time we’ve been onstage together, to my knowledge.”

Their tour — dubbed The Voice. The Guitar. The Songs — starts on May 23rd in Albany, New York.

No Detroit area dates scheduled yet.
