Despite published reports to the contrary, Mick Jagger and the other members of The Rolling Stones are still in Australia following Monday’s suicide of Jagger’s girlfriend, designer L’Wren Scott, at her New York City apartment.

Jagger has reportedly been unable to sleep and has been joined by two of his daughters —Elizabeth and Georgia May — from his marriage to Jerry Hall. Drummer Charlie Watts, leaving a restaurant in Perth, says Jagger is “holding up,” but then added that he’s “not really well. He’s not really here. It was such a shock.”

Jagger and his bandmates are expected to fly to New York on Thursday.

On Wednesday night in Perth, Watts sat in with Stones touring saxophonist Tim Ries at a Perth jazz club.
