Motown: The Musical‘s national touring company has announced its cast as well as performances running through September 2015.

Clifton Oliver and Allison Semmes will star as Berry Gordy and Diana Ross in the story of America’s most important black-owned record company. One of Broadway’s most popular shows since opened last April, Motown: The Musical packs in more than 50 classic Motor City hits, including “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” “My Girl” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

The curtain goes up April 22nd for an 11-week run at the Oriental Theater in Chicago. That’s followed by six weeks at the Orpheum in San Francisco, before the homecoming engagement — October 21st through November 16th at Detroit’s Fisher Theater.

Among the other cities locked in are Minneapolis (beginning December 16th), Pittsburgh (December 30th) and Fort Lauderale (February 24th).
