Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame: Who’s Going?

The class of 2014 members uncertain about attending their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inauguration gala in New York next month now includes Cat Stevens. Quoting a close friend of the singer-songwriter now known as Yusuf Islam, ShowBiz411.com says he hasn’t made up his mind whether to travel to New York for the event or not.

Islam had been on some no-fly lists several years ago and had trouble traveling to the U.S. after he began his return to the pop music scene.

His absence would further dim a ceremony that will be without the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, KISS — whose internal squabbles led to a decision not to perform — and Linda Ronstadt, who is unable to sing due to Parkinson’s disease and may not be up for the strain of traveling to the ceremony.
