Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame: Who’s Going?

The class of 2014 members uncertain about attending their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inauguration gala in New York next month now includes Cat Stevens. Quoting a close friend of the singer-songwriter now known as Yusuf Islam, says he hasn’t made up his mind whether to travel to New York for the event or not.

Islam had been on some no-fly lists several years ago and had trouble traveling to the U.S. after he began his return to the pop music scene.

His absence would further dim a ceremony that will be without the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, KISS — whose internal squabbles led to a decision not to perform — and Linda Ronstadt, who is unable to sing due to Parkinson’s disease and may not be up for the strain of traveling to the ceremony.
