At the age of 72, Eric Burdon is still rockin’!  From his days with the English rock group the Animals, to his funk band War, Burden was truly a part of the “British Invasion” of America.

He’ll be performing with the Animals at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre August 25th along with special guest, Detroit’s own, Rare Earth and from Ann Arbor, Brownsville Station.

Burdon just finished a run through Europe and will start a handful of dates in America on August 24th in Elgin, Illinois. He’ll be out through October 26th in Toronto before heading back to Europe in November and December. Among the U.S. dates is the “Bumbershoot Festival” in Seattle on September 1st.

Erik Burdon performs “Water” from his new album “Til Your River Runs Dry” at John Varvatos Bowery NYC as part of the Bowery Live concert series.
