Aretha Franklin: Still Ailing!

Detroit’s own “Queen of Soul” has just cancelled her planned show, “One Last Time”, at the DTE Energy Music Theater for July 27th because of ongoing health concerns.

Aretha addressed the issue in an open letter to her fans:   “Regretfully I must cancel one last time my… concert July 27 (sic) due to my miscalculation of the end of my treatment. It would be totally disruptive to stop them now and go into concert with total success right at the door, 100 per cent. I love you much and more than the spoken word can tell. I’ll see you next summer.”

Franklin had previously cancelled a couple of shows in May and all of her appearances in June.

Ticket refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase.
