After a huge weekend in his hometown last week, Bob Seger played what’s believed to be his first-ever show in Brooklyn, New York Tuesday night at the Barclays Center — and did some sightseeing while he was there.

He told the audience that he’d enjoyed his day in Brooklyn, taking his wife and daughter for a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, snapping lots of photos and just being one of the tourists. He also dedicated that night’s show to his daughter Samantha, who was celebrating her 18th birthday. Later in the show, he dedicated “Against the Wind” to Victoria, the 25-year-old daughter of longtime Silver Bullet Band sax player Alto Reed. Seger pointed out that she lives in Brooklyn and rides her bike over the Brooklyn Bridge every day to work in Manhattan.

Seger’s “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” tour heads up to Buffalo, New York for a show there Thursday night.
