Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company Coming To DTE!

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company bring The 40 Tour to DTE Energy Music Theatre on Tuesday, July 23. The number 40 represents 40 years together. Lynyrd Skynyrd released their first album in 1973, while Bad Company formed the same year.

“The Skynyrds and I go back to the ’70s and the days and nights at the Hyatt House on Sunset in L.A. aka The Riot House,” said Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers. “In the ’90s the band introduced me to my wife Cynthia, and that’s why I am so damned happy and healthy these years.”

“Every member of Skynyrd has been fans of  Bad Company from the get go,” said Skynyrd vocalist Johnny Van Zant.  “Personally, Paul is one of my favorite rock singers.  We have a deep appreciation for Bad Company’s music and look forward to being on the road with them and sharing the stage.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8th at 10AM.

Tickets available at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace Ticket Store & all Ticketmaster locations, including The Locker Room Store at Great Lakes Crossing.
