$8,800 Cocktail Is Worlds Most Expensive

Wow! Any chance it’s on the ‘Happy Hour’ menu? Even then, I bet it’s still about $4,500 a glass!

Oh yeah, you’ll also need a plane ticket to London, because, as this story points out, that’s the only place it’s made.

So what makes this cocktail, called Salvatore’s Legacy, worth the price of a good used car?

Well, for starters, how about 235 year old Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac? That’s a little pricey. Then, throw in  a 1770 Kummel Liqueur, a circa 1860 Dubb Orange Curacao and two dashes of Angostura Bitters dating from around 1900, and you’ve got the Holy Grail of booze. If I’m paying the equivalent of a years worth of rent for this drink, I better have a $10,000 hangover the next day!
