Yeah, Xbox and PS3 are cool. Amazing sight and sound. But let’s think blast from the past. There’s just something special and fun about a board game. I have good memories of family game night, where I’d whoop everyone everytime!
Okay, not really.
I remember whole weekends playing Life (my personal fav), Monopoly, Operation (buzz!), and Sorry, just to name a few. We’d play for hours, especially in the winter when it was to cold to go outside, or we didn’t have money to go to the movies. You can still find a lot of classic board games, and they’re still just as fun! It’s sometimes tough to get everyone to play a game without all the special effects, but give it a try sometime. I guarantee a night of great family fun!
So, what was your favorite classic board game growing up, and do you ever play it with your family?
