[photogallerylink id=84870 align=right] Freud would have fun with this one!

Apparently, when John F. Kennedy Jr.  once asked [mp3com-artist]Madonna[/mp3com-artist] to pose as his deceased mother, Jacqueline Onassis, on the cover of George magazine. That would be a little weird but it becomes really weird when you realize it was rumored that JFK Jr. and Madonna had once had a secret romance.

Fan site, drownedmadonna.com, reports Kennedy’s  assistant, RoseMarie Terenzio tells the story in her new book, Fair Tale Interrupted.  According to the story when Kennedy was told it was a bad idea to have Madonna pose as his mother he replied, “If it doesn’t bother me, why should it bother anyone else?”

Madonna politely declined the request with a hand-written note that read as follows:

“Dear Johnny Boy,

Thanks for asking me to be your mother but I’m afraid I would never do her justice. My eyebrows aren’t thick enough for one. When you want me to portray Eva Braun or Pamela Harriman I might say yes!

Hope you’re well

Love, Madonna”

In the end Drew Barrymore graced the cover as Marilyn Monroe. Still strange considering Monroe was JFK Sr.’s alleged mistress but when you’re a Kennedy there is probably no shortage of beautiful iconic skeletons in the family closet.
