Jim Morrison Would Have Been 68 Today

[mp3com-artist]Jim Morrison[/mp3com-artist] was born  on December 8, 1943 in Florida.

Writer, poet, singer and entertainer, Morrison reportedly had an I.Q. of 149. 

During Morrison’s lifetime [mp3com-artist]The Doors[/mp3com-artist] produced six studio albums, The Doors, Strange Days, Waiting for the Sun, The Soft Parade, Morrison Hotel & L.A. Woman, all of which have gone platinum in the U.S.. Two Doors’ studio albums were recorded after Morrison’s death, Other Voices and Full CircleAn American Prayer was released in 1978 and features poetry recorded by Morrison (it also has a platinum status.)

The Doors’ have maintained their popularity for over 40 years gaining fans with each new generation.

Morrison died in Paris, France at the age of 27 on July 3, 1971. No cause of death was ever officially determined.
