The National Park Foundation, the official charity of America‘s national parks, invited Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan to perform at the dedication ceremony of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.   A crowd of roughly 3,000 people gathered to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 and to witness the dedicated ceremony to the 40 Americans who succumbed to hatred on the flight. A moment of silence was executed, followed by a rousing rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” After the national anthem was sung, Sarah McLaughlin performed “I Will Remember You” .
