Arts, Beats & Eats 2011

[photogallerylink id=27472 align=right] Ford Arts, Beats & Eats, presented by Citizens Bank, Oakland County’s Favorite Summer Festival Celebrating Art, Music, Cuisine and Humanity returns September 2-5, 2011 in Downtown Royal Oak. The festival will offer more than 200 performances on ten stages, a highly ranked Juried Fine Arts Show, local restaurants with some of the finest cuisine in metro Detroit and international, regional and local attractions that will make the city of Royal Oak the premier destination for Labor Day weekend 2011!

104.3 WOMC welcomes  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Starship[/lastfm] featuring Mickey Thomas on Sunday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. on the Michigan Lottery National Stage!

The festival runs Friday, September 2nd through Labor Day, Monday September 5th. Event hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Directions and parking info to Arts, Beats & Eats here.

In 2010, Arts, Beats & Eats celebrated its most successful year to date, hosting more than 400,000 people over four days, and raising over $350,000 for local charities. The economic impact to the region was measured at $39 million.

Admission: $3 – volunteers will be handing out $3 coupons good for shopping and dining at most retail stores and restaurants. The coupons are good on a minimum $15 purchase, but may be used a different locations each day.
