[photogallerylink id=56713 align=right] An Upper East Side New York Bakery, the Fairway Cafe, developed a new baked good with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme baked in.  Naturally they called it the “Scarborough Fairway” as an ode to the NY duo [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Simon & Garfunkel[/lastfm].

But now if you stop in the Fairway Cafe you won’t find Scarborough Fairways, you’ll just find plain old “herb wreaths” because according to a bakery representative  “Fairway was sent a cease and desist letter re: copyright infringement.”

Oh, come on! What is with people!  Can’t we all just have fun with puns? The song is like 400 some years old.  Get over it. I mean it’s not like Art Garfunkel was planning on starting his own line of heavily seasoned bagels, he’s not Santana for Pete’s sake.
