Okay guys, admit it. You’ve said out loud or under your breath that women are lousier drivers then men, right? Well a new study done at the University of Michigan seems to confirm your notion.

This is going to be more than controversial but a new study of 6 and a half million traffic accidents concludes that women get into more accidents than men even though they drive less than men.

The study was done by researchers at the University of Michigan. They reached their statistical conclusion after checking out six-and-a-half-million crashes. The same study also found an inordinately high number of crashes involving two female drivers crashing into each other.

So what gives here? Some say women are at a disadvantage because they are smaller and have less visibility. Others say women are much more likely to have kids in cars with them and we all know kids can be a huge distraction.

What do you think about this research? Take our poll below and check back to see if others are sharing your view!
