Final Shuttle Launch

[photogallerylink id=74149 align=right] The question remains, will the weather co-operate with the launch of  the final NASA space shuttle missions?  The historic launch of the shuttle Atlantis is scheduled for 11:26am and the countdown clock is running as of  9:30am.  More than 1 million people have converged on the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral to witness the event.  If ther is a delay today, the launch will be re-scheduled for Sunday.  No doubt you’ve seen video of shuttle launches before but this time MSNBC has put together a time lapse video of the four days leading up to this event.
