This is my weekly ipod update and some of the music I listen to when I’m not playing Detroit’s Greatest Hits.

Bob Marley has been called the Third World’s first pop superstar.  A Jamaican singer-songwriter, he is, to this day, the world’s best known performer of reggae music.  In 1981, at the age of 36 and at the pinnacle of his career, Bob Marley died of cancer.  This is one of my favorite Bob Marley and the Wailers songs.  It’s a great live performance of it from July 21st, 1979, at the Amandla Festival in Harvard Stadium, Boston Massachusetts.
