June 7th,1969 saw the British debut of the world’s first supergroup, Blind Faith.  They played a free concert on this date in London’s Hyde ParkBlind Faith was an English blues-rock band made up of Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ric Grech and Ginger Baker.  Clapton and Baker previously with Cream and Steve Winwood coming over from Traffic and the Spencer Davis Group.  Their first and only album “Blind Faith” was released in 1969.  Here’s a 1969 performance of the bands “Can’t Find My Way Home”.  Take note of how young Steve Winwood looks.
