I never saw this happening, though.” credit=”Clarence Clemons”]Just a few weeks before it’s release, Lady Gaga is giving fans yet another taste of what’s to come on her upcoming new album, Born This Way. She’s known for busting out the pop, but this new project might not be just for the Top 40 crowd.

Fans of Bruce Springteen and The E Street Band may want to listen in for an appearance by saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who appears on Gaga’s new single, “The Edge of Glory.”

The song merges a power ballad chorus, a disco beat, and an ’80s stadium rock vibe, featuring a lead saxophone part performed by Clemons. Born This Way hits stores May 23rd via Interscope.
