madonna Madonna Ready To Record New Album In 2011

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Madonna[/lastfm] is prepping to return to the studio and record a new album!

Billboard reports the pop star has to deliver on a $100 million multi-rights deal with Live Nation.

Live Nation Entertainment Chairman Irving Azoff told, “They tell me Madonna is about to record, so there could be another Madonna cycle coming.”

Madonna signed a ten-year contract with Live Nation in 2007.  Prior to that she has a 25 year relationship with Warner Bros. The singer’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour grossed $408 million worldwide!  Madonna’s upcoming record is likely to be followed with a large-scale tour as well.

Madonna will jump into the studio as soon as she wraps up her directing work on the film W.E..
