Things To Do On Boxing Day 2010


Most Americans don’t celebrate Boxing Day but if the province of Ontario can declare December 26 a statutory holiday then us metro Detroiters can join in on the fun! After all we are only a stones throw away!

Boxing Day was traditionally a day to give boxes of gifts or money to the poor or servants.  It is also known as St. Stephen’s Day. While some continue to make it a day of giving others opt to just get out and enjoy the day with friends and family.

Check the change in your pocket and if even one piece has the Queen’s face or a loon on it I think that’s reason enough to partake in Boxing Day. Here’s a few December 26, 2010 events to get you started…
