A lot of new cars were loaded onto trains and dropped off at dealerships during October. Experts had predicted brisk sales for Detroit’s Big Three and happily, they were right on the money.
All told, U.S. auto sales for October for Detroit’s Big Three rose by nearly 13% compared to October of 2009. And Chrysler set the pace.
Most foreign automakers also enjoyed an increase but not Toyota. Their sales were off by 4.4%.
