WOMC's Bobby Mitchell remembers Bob Probert.

Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch said “Bob Probert was always there for his teammates and was one of the toughest men to ever play in the NHL. He was also one of the kindest, most colorful, and beloved players Detroit has ever known.” He was an enforcer on the ice, but not a goon. He protected teammates, and when he wasn’t dropping the gloves he was filling the back of the net.

Funeral arrangements are later in the week in Windsor.

With Santana tickets to give away, we decided to honor Bob by remembering other fighters, too.
