Residents of several Southeast Michigan communities reported feeling an earthquake this afternoon.
Reports have been called into our sister station at WWJ Newsradio 950. Callers reported feeling an earthquake in Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Harrison Township and Livonia, just to name a few cities. The U.S. Office of Geological Survey reported a 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred 31 miles north of Cumberland, Canada. The USGS in Lansing confirmed that an earthquake signal occurred at Michigan State University.
